Before admissions to our program, each student must check with ARDMS or CCI to be certain their pre-requisite education qualifies them for one of our study pathways.

We welcome students to our program who have a Bachelors degree in any field or an Associates Degree in any Allied Health profession such as: EMT, LPN, Dental Assistant, X-ray Tech etc.  We look for professionals from any background who are ready to embark on a rewarding career in Sonography.  We seek out people who are bold enough to learn a new skill and willing to dedicate their time to the active pursuit of a new career!

Visit ARDMS. org or CCI.org to learn more.  Click below and use the ARDMS  or CCI qualification checker tools. Have more questions regarding your eligibility for our program? Call the credentialing body of your choice and ask them about your specific pre-requisites.

Required Ultrasound Intensives: Two, 4-day Intensive Training Sessions to Kick-Start Your Ultrasound Training

We tailor our courses to the needs and lifestyle of busy professionals. Our Ultrasound Intensives take place twice a month for 4 days of focused hands-on training sessions.  These training sessions begin at 8am with coffee and lecture, a break for lunch and end usually around 4:30 pm each day.  Then students are encouraged to enjoy dinner on their own or with their new classmates before heading back into the Scan Lab for repetitious protocol scanning supported by your instructors.  See the EVENTS calendar for upcoming Intensive dates.

Required Scan Lab Training

Before being placed into the required 1 year of paid clinical training you must meet our proficiency standard and pass a skills test with your Instructor on your protocol scanning, documentation and patient relations.  You are required to practice in the Scan Lab for a total of 160 documented full protocol scans. Our students are welcome and encouraged to utilize the Scan Lab at their convenience.  The Scan Lab is available to students 24/7, excluding Holidays.
